The hotel grounds are maintained well with lush gardens. Super clean pathways create a sense of tranquility.

I chose a ground-floor room, but I was told I had been "upgraded" to a first-floor room. This so-called upgrade lacked the easy garden access I had wanted. The room itself featured outdated decor with dark brown furniture.

The amount of mosquitoes at night was overwhelming. I expected better pest control. The open buffet dinner lacked variety, especially for the price. Options seemed limited to Sri Lankan and Indian dishes, with a noticeable absence of Western choices. The desserts were uninspired, and the overall selection felt more like a standard 3-star hotel, but with a much higher price tag. It was a real let down. I wish I had known this beforehand.
